Our History
Luz Guevara Design was founded in 2020 she shares a passion for home decor and home improvement. Over the years, we have grown into a thriving business that are dedicated to providing our customers with high-quality products and exceptional service.
We are manufacturers of premium quality umbrellas whose function is not only to protect the user from rain or sun: it is to carry the flag and native symbols of Puerto Rico to its citizens and abroad. The designs are exclusive to Luz Guevara, an artist based in this country and eager to take our culture and its symbols around the world.
The umbrellas are made of functional and durable materials such as steel for the mechanism, but they are treated with paint for protection. Its body and handle are made of wood, soft on the hands and warm to the touch. The colors are intense and resist fading by the sun. The mechanism contains springs that give solidity against the onslaught of the wind, keeping the position firmly open so as not to collapse.
We like the idea of offering them for resale to their customers, who are surely those who visit Puerto Rico to get to know its beauty up close guided by professionals. The suggestion is that they use the umbrellas during the trip, taking photos with them, and in turn declaring their charm with Puerto Rico through our slogan "@Love PR" (registered trademark). It is not only that they say that they love Puerto Rico, but whoever reads it on the umbrella receives the invitation to “love Puerto Rico”.
